Twelve megapixels of clean, fast, repeatable area-scan inspection — engineered for OCR, label verification, defect detection, and complex part validation. Tunable optics. Integrated lighting. Edge AI that runs at line speed.
Every IX-AS/01 ships with optics matched to your application's working distance, the size of the text or feature you're inspecting, and the reflectivity of your material. Our engineering team specifies lens, illumination, and exposure as part of the project — not as a generic configuration.
Lens options span 8 mm to 50 mm focal lengths. Illumination spans polarized, dome, ring, and bar. Working distance from 200 mm to 2,000 mm. The result is a camera tuned to your line — not a camera you spend weeks tuning.
The IX-AS/01 runs inference on-device. A dedicated edge accelerator handles defect classification, OCR, and dimensional analysis at full frame rate, with sub-200 ms end-to-end latency from trigger to PLC verdict. No round-trip to a server. No dependency on plant networking. No production downtime if IT does maintenance.
Models are trained on your samples in our lab and deployed to the camera over signed firmware updates. A new model takes ten seconds to install and zero seconds of line downtime — the camera holds the previous model in standby until the new one is verified.
The IX-AS/01 is fully sealed to IP67 — dust, mist, washdown, and the occasional dropped tool are non-events. The lens mount is C-mount with an O-ring; the M12 X-coded connector locks against vibration; the housing is anodized aluminum that survives chemical splash and thermal cycling from -10°C to +50°C without re-calibration.
MTBF is rated above 100,000 hours at 25°C ambient — that's eleven years of continuous operation. We back that with a five-year warranty on the camera body and a two-year warranty on the optics package.
99.4% accuracy on production-line dot-matrix codes.
Print quality + position to ±200 µm tolerance.
Scratches, dents, contamination on metal & plastic.
Caps, seals, gaskets, components — binary verdicts at line speed.
